On Friday, gold prices massively increased in Pakistan, mirroring the rise in the international market.
As reported by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs2,400, setting the new price at Rs257,300 which is a massive increase in the price of Gold.
Additionally, the price for 10 grams of gold went up by Rs2,057, reaching Rs220,593, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold now costs Rs202,210.
Internationally, the gold market also saw gains, with the price per ounce rising by $26 to $2,458, according to the APGJSA.
In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs2,900 per tola.
Earlier this month, gold prices in Pakistan hit a record high, with the per tola price increasing by Rs4,600 to Rs254,000.
These fluctuations highlight the volatility and significant changes in the precious metals market, driven by both domestic and global economic factors.
