Butchers in Karachi have announced the prices for animal sacrifices for Eid-ul-Adha 2024. According to the Meat Merchants Association, the cost for sacrificing a cow on the first day of Eid will be 20,000 rupees, while a goat will cost 10,000 rupees.
Additionally, the association has set the price for sacrificing a camel at 40,000 rupees. Nadeem Qureshi, a representative of the association, noted that the rates for sacrifices on the second and third days of Eid will be roughly half of the first day’s prices.
These rates have been published to assist people in planning their Qurbani arrangements for the upcoming Eid. Eid-ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is a significant Islamic holiday during which Muslims perform the ritual of Qurbani, or animal sacrifice, to honor Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son in obedience to God.
