Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has unveiled a notable discount for Pakistani students traveling to China for educational purposes. The national airline is offering a 20 percent reduction in fares to ease the financial burden for students pursuing their studies in China.
In addition to the fare discount, PIA has increased the baggage allowance for these students to 60 kilograms. This enhancement enables students to carry more essentials without incurring extra costs, which is particularly beneficial for those needing to transport important items for their academic pursuits and stay in China.
PIA currently operates a weekly flight on the Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad route every Sunday. Students planning to return to Pakistan for summer holidays or after completing their degrees can benefit from this reduced fare.
Previously, PIA had raised the student discount to 27 percent for travel to China, reflecting their continued dedication to supporting students. The airline also offered a 20 percent fare reduction for economy and executive economy classes on domestic flights during Eid ul Fitr, facilitating more affordable travel during the festive period.
These initiatives by PIA underscore their commitment to providing cost-effective and convenient travel options for Pakistani students and other passengers, helping to make education and important family visits more financially manageable.
